The New generation of SuperMoto

The new generation of Supermoto bikes by Husqvarna is truly the essence of Supermoto. The sexy yet tough bike is good on off road and on track racing. The Supermoto sport is a mix of different skills required for street racing, motocross and dirt track. The Swedish styled bike is on a class of its own

At a glance, the bike looks simple and hard. But on a second look, the monstrosity is seen on the one sided exhaust, the height and tires, the two front forks - simply amazing. The “modified suspension, street wheels and tires is the perfect recipe for a Supermoto” (bikebandit.com, 2015)

Whether it is the Supermoto 701 or the FS 450 engines, the immense power can be seen as the bike just wants to take off. The displacement of the 750 as compared to the 450 can tell the difference between the pro’s and the newbies in the game, the man and the boy.

This would be a beast to own someday but with reservations as the thrill, the rush could also mean the crush and the injuries compounded. The bike is very different from a any KTM model though its part of the KTM group by acquisition. A chance to hear this bike roar or see it in action on track or the dirt road is always a warm welcomed sight. Machoni Mwangu Photography got a chance to witness the bike in action in one of the Superbike Association races held in Kenya. Watch this space for the new upcoming races. Below is some images of this Supermoto

MachoniMwangu.Photography was featured on People Daily - Wikendi magazine dated 01-06-2019. The image shown was a double spread pages 18 -19. I am honored and thankful for the open doors. The article read as below:

With a love for nature, outdoors and adventure, I have always wanted to share the beauty of what I see through my eyes. The need to express and share stories with different people about the places and ideologies perceived on my travels did inspire my photography. I bought my first DLSR camera over 4 years ago and through time I have been accumulating lenses and pieces necessary for the job

MachoniMwangu.Photography is more than just taking a picture. It is creating and anticipating a moment with each image in a creative style. My Passion in photography is mostly on nature, adventure sport and travel. My name is Kennedy Muuo

History always has a story to tell with all the amazing images taken revealing what happened, when, where and how. The Image of the “Juvenile Baboon” was captured in Naivasha during a time out with the family. We watched for a while as the baby was always next to his mother. At this particular time, he jumped down on a wall that was well lit, perfect for a shot. I got the chance to sneak up and anticipate stare at me with food on his mouth. Picture was taken using a Canon 7D, Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Lens

Honda Shadow 750cc Cruiser

The Honda Shadow 750cc cruiser is indeed a beauty with gorgeous pipes and shinny chromes. The bike is based on Honda's venerable liquid-cooled 52-degree V-twin engine. It has an impressive torque in the lower rpm ranges. The engine sports twin-plug, three-valve cylinder heads, with two intakes. At calm speeds along the greens, the bike was easy and noisily picking up speed. Fantastic however, the pillion seat is just miniature. For a long distance, it is sure going to hurt your rear.

The well kept and nicely spruced up Honda shadow cruiser got Kevin and I meet up at the Karirana estates one Sunday afternoon for a shoot. The idea was bring out the chrome on the bike against the back ground of the coffee plantations and the blue sky. The clear road and winding turns brought out some great images ideas as well

Praise Festival with Travis Greene in Kenya 2018

The Grammy awards and Stellar awards nominee Travis Greene, was in Nairobi for the Praise fest late 2018. The international singer performed his famed songs “Intentional”, “Made a way”, “Still here” and “You waited”. The performance was so moving that he also sang “Reckless love” a song by Cory Asbury. In song, the love of God goes beyond a performance. The emotions ran freely and the audience got to worship which was the main aim of the festival. At the end of the show, the audience were still demanding for him to do more songs of which he performed “Nara” a song he had featured by Tim Godfrey.

MachoniMwangu Photography was there documenting the event in pictures. See some below:
